(WXYZ) — The Detroit Lions haven't played a game overseas since 2015 but that could all change in 2020, according to a report.
The website The Falcoholic said that on a season ticket holder call, the Atlanta Falcons will play an international game in early October, with the potential opponents being the Lions or the Denver Broncos.
Detroit played the Falcons in London at Wembley Stadium in 2014. Matt Prater attempted a game-winning field goal that missed, but a delay of game penalty was called and he re-kicked, hitting the field goal and beating the Falcons 22-21.
