The NHL and Detroit Red Wings unveiled the all-new ADIZERO adidas hockey jerseys and uniforms that all 31 teams will wear during the 2017-18 season.
For the Detroit Red Wings, not much has changed with the switch, as the Original 6 team had a classic uniform.
The home jersey is still red with the Winged Wheel in the middle, a single white stripe on each sleeve and white trim at the bottom of the jersey.
The company said they worked with the Red Wings to "respectfully preserve the Detroit Red Wings' current uniform identity when moving to the new ADIZERO technology platform."
The NHL switched to adidas after using Reebok as the sole provider of the uniforms for the past few seasons. Adidas is the parent company of Reebok.
According to the NHL, the new jerseys and lighter, cooler and stronger.
All of the teams got new jerseys, including the newest team, the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
The 2017-18 NHL schedule will be released Thursday.
