DETROIT (WXYZ) — Ahead of the 2019 season, the Detroit Tigers will begin mobile-only entry at Comerica Park, joining the likes of both the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena.

According to the team, mobile tickets are the safest and most-convenient way to receive and manage tickets. Fans will have to download the Ballpark App through the iTunes App Store or Google Play Store to get their tickets.

If you don't have access to a smartphone, fans are asked to call the Comerica Park Box Office at 313-741-2200 in advance or visit the box office on game day to get your tickets. Tickets in the Ballpark app will have a rectangle barcode with regular ticket information on them, including section, row, seat number, game date, time and opponent.

According to the team, screenshots of the tickets will not be accepted, and you can only access them from the Ballpark app.
