The Detroit Tigers announced on Wednesday that they will host three peanut-friendly games during the 2018 season.

While they won't be eliminating peanuts from those games completely, there will be special accommodations made for families affected by a peanut allergy.

According to the team, the games will be on Friday, April 21, Saturday April 22 and Saturday, May 26.

Families have the opportunity to buy four tickets maximum at $60 per ticket. All fans who buy them must complete a signed waiver.

Because Comerica Park is an open air ballpark, there will be peanuts and other nut products in other areas of the park. They say they cannot fully guarantee the absence of nut particles or residue, and fans with nut allergies should take all precautions they normally take in public places.
