Every year, the Detroit Titans raise money through a 'Cardio 4 A Cause' fundraising event. This year the school is raising money for the Flint Water Crisis but cycling on a stationary bike in Calihan Hall for 24 straight hours.
Students, student athletes, teachers, coaches and more are participating in the event, including basketball player Anton Wilson.
The cause is particularly close to Wilson's heart, as he is from Flint and still had family that lives there.
"I see what they have to go through. I went home this past weekend and I had to boil water, use bottled water and everything," said Wlson.
Wilson says being part of a team that's chosen to give back to the community he's from means a lot to him.
"This is probably one of the biggest things we've done as far as our basketball team here."
Last week, the school officially became a drop off center for water and monetary donations. They are still accepting donations, and the men's and women's basketball teams will deliver them to Flint.
