DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit Red Wings forward Dylan Larkin is back on the ice and skating days after he left practice early when he went hard into the board.
Brad Galli posted a video of Larkin skating in an orange sweater during practice on Thursday morning, just two days before the team's season opener in Nashville on Saturday night.

His status for the game hasn't been announced yet.
During practice on Tuesday, Larkin went into the boards and left the ice early.
"He turned up, I guess I'd say, kind of curled up with the puck, and at the same time almost kind of ran into (Darren Helm) and then kind of went into the wall a little bit," head coach Jeff Blashill told reporters. "It didn't look...anything much, it looked fairly innocent, and then he went off the ice."
Andreas Athanasiou was not on the ice again for practice on Thursday. His status for Saturday's game also hasn't been announced.
