(WXYZ) — List 'em off.
Count 'em down.
Anyway you write it, the entire 2014 Tigers starting pitching rotation is filled with World Series winners.
One big issue: they all did it wearing another uniform.
The Detroit Tigers 2014 rotation:
— Brad Galli (@BradGalli) October 31, 2019
Justin Verlander - 2017 World Series champ
Rick Porcello - 2018 World Series champ
David Price - 2018 World Series champ
Max Scherzer - 2019 World Series champ
Anibal Sanchez - 2019 World Series champ
The Nationals 2019 World Series win sealed the deal for that talent-loaded rotation. Max Schezer and Anibal Sanchez won the championship with Washington (along with former Tigers reliever Fernando Rodney).
Justin Verlander won with Houston in 2017, and Rick Porcello and David Price won in 2018 with Boston.
Someone keep an eye on Drew Smyly's 2020 team. He started 18 games in 2014 for Detroit before being traded for Price.
