The Detroit Lions acquired cornerback Johnthan Banks in a trade with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before the deadline, the team announced.
Banks, 27, is in his fourth NFL season, and has played in 50 games for Tampa Bay. He has 130 tackles, seven interceptions, one touchdown and two tackles for loss.
In exchange, the Buccaneers received a 2018 seventh-round pick, according to the Detroit News.
