ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) -- The Lions finished cutting their roster to the NFL-mandated 53 players on Saturday.
Earlier in the day, Detroit traded DB Johnson Bademosi to the Patriots for a 2019 draft pick.
The following players were waived: LB Thurston Armbrister, CB Adairius Barnes, WR Jace Billingsley, S Alex Carter, DT Ego Ferguson, WR Dontez Ford, QB Brad Kaaya, C Leo Koloamatangi, TE Khari Lee, DT Derrick Lott, DT Caushaud Lyons, S Rolan Milligan, T Storm Norton, DE Pat O’Connor, TE Scott Orndoff, WR Michael Rector, WR Noel Thomas, CB Josh Thornton, TE Robert Tonyan, TE Cole Wick, and LB Antwione Williams.
Tackle Nick Becton was released under the Vested Veterans category.
Defensive end Armonty Bryant and defensive tackle Khyri Thornton were placed on the Reserve/Suspended by Commissioner list.
Punter Sam Martin was placed on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list, and tackle Taylor Decker was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
