ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) -- The Lions placed wide receiver Corey Fuller and tight end Brandon Pettigrew on the reserve/physically unable to perform list Tuesday.

While Fuller did play in the Lions' 30-9 loss to Baltimore, he still continues to recover from offseason foot surgery. Pettigrew, meanwhile, is recovering from an ACL injury last season.

The team also waived cornerback Brandon McGee, brining the roster to the NFL-mandated 75 players.

In a subsequent transaction Tuesday, the Lions signed former Bengals linebacker Jayson DiManche off waivers, and released linebacker Dominique Tovell in a corresponding move.

Detroit will have to further cut its roster to the league-maximum 53 players by 4:00 p.m. on September 3.
