The Lions interviewed Louis Riddick for the team's open general manager position on Friday.
Riddick is currently an ESPN analyst on Monday Night Football. He played in the NFL and then served as a Director of Pro Personnel for the Washington Football Team and Philadelphia Eagles
He also intereviewed for the open Houston Texans GM job.
On Tuesday, Detroit announced it was hiring former linebacker Chris Spielman to be a special assistant to the front office and said he would interview candidates for the head coach and GM.
The Lions confirmed the interview happened.
