ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) -- Lions tackle Taylor Decker's surgery recovery time could be 4-6 months, according to a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapaport.

Head Coach Jim Caldwell announced Tuesday that Decker would be out "indefinitely" following shoulder surgery.
At the earliest, Rapoport says Decker could return by October.
The Lions open the regular season September 10 against the Cardinals.
