Glover Quin knows Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald is a future Hall of Famer, but he also knows Fitzgerald is a unique personality on the field.
Quin says Fitzgerald tells his defenders, "Hit me high, man, I'll pay your fine. Just avoid the knees".
Of course, aiming at the head during a tackle isn't allowed in the NFL, and illegal hits like that often result in the offending defender being fined.
Quin says Fitzgerald's main concern was -- and probably still is -- blowing out a knee by getting hit in the hips, legs or knees.
He also says Fitzgerald likes to talk a lot on the field, sharing stories of the advice Fitzgerald gives to his defenders after he's beat them and the play us over.
The Lions host Fitzgerald and the Cardinals Sunday in Week 1.
