Grand Traverse Resort and Spa is hosting the 103rd Michigan Open at The Bear from Aug. 31-Sept. 3.
Ahead of the tournament, the course is opening up to all golfers for a two-day pro-am.
Tom McGee, director of golf operations at the resort, talked to WXYZ about the big week of golf ahead.
Below is a breakdown of the pro-am from Grand Traverse Resort:
Cost:
$4,000 per foursome ($1,000 per person, based on double occupancy)
$650 commuter rate (per person)
Package Includes:
Two nights lodging at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa (August 28-29)
Two 18-hole rounds of golf (The Wolverine & The Bear)
Lunch is included both days and breakfast included on August 29. Opening night cocktail reception on the lawn at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. Awards reception and banquet at Turtle Creek Casino. Prizes to include airline tickets, golf packages, golf equipment, and more. Each golfer will receive a gift package.
