DETROIT (WXYZ) — Former Detroit Red Wings Captain Henrik Zetterberg teared up while talking about the late Ted Lindsay during the public visitation for Lindsay at Little Caesars Arena on Friday.

During a media interview, Zetterberg said finding out about Lindsay's death on Monday was tough, but talked about how Lindsay always called on his landline.

"Thing with Ted was that he never called on my cell, he always called on my landline. Every time he did that, I wasn't the first to answer. My wife, Emma, answered a few times, too. They just kept talking, then all the sudden Joanne and Emma were talking. In the end, I got to speak with Ted. Every time it rings at home we know it's either Emma's mom or dad, my mom or dad, or Ted," he said.
