DETROIT (WXYZ) — We're just over a month away from Detroit's first PGA Tour event, the Rocket Mortgage Classic, and we're now learning how fans attending the event can get there with parking details.
According to the event, fans attending the Rocket Mortgage Classic will park at the Michigan State Fairgrounds and be shuttled to the main tournament entrance at Detroit Golf Club.

Parking will be $15 for Tuesday and Wednesday an $25 for the tournament on Thursday-Sunday.
Fans are encouraged to buy parking ahead of time online at RocketMortgageClassic.com and also save $5 on the feeds. Parking can only be bought as part of a ticket purchase. Those who buy tickets now will have the option available, and those who already bought tickets will be sent an email with parking information.
The fans will enter on W. State Fair Ave. between Wooward and John R. and then board the shuttle to Detroit Golf Club, less than two miles away.
Complimentary handicapped parking will be locate at the University of Detroit Mercy with ADA-accessible shuttles to and from Detroit golf club.
Rideshare options are also available, with the Palmer Park Community Building being the tournament's designated drop-off and pick-up location. Drivers will need to approach from the south via Woodward Ave. as Ponchartrain will be restricted to residents and credentialed vehicles only.
Tickets are still available for the event, taking place June 25-30 at the Detroit Golf Club.
