ROYAL OAK, Mich. — Hockey helped grant a wish.

A 12-year-old Lake Orion native named Mason lives with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. TDR Specialists in Orthodontics found out he had a wish through Make-A-Wish, and decided to hold a charity hockey game to grant his wish.

The game raised over $6,000 for Make-A-Wish, meaning Mason will get to swim with dolphins.

TDR invited WXYZ's Brad Galli to emcee the event's game, raffle, and announcements. Galli also suited up with the doctors at Royal Oak's Lindell Ice Arena.
