DETROIT (WXYZ) -- The Detroit Red Wings have signed first-round draft pick Filip Zadina to an entry-level contract, the team announced Saturday.
Financial terms for the three-year deal were not disclosed.
Zadina was selected with the sixth overall pick in the 2018 NHL Draft. The Czech Republic native spent the 2017-18 season with Halifax of the QMJHL.
Zadina reacted to the signing on Twitter.
