A group of Red Wings and their significant others went shopping on Wednesday night.
They gathered gifts for kids at Children's Hospital.
The Red Wings got help from some young Clark Park hockey players at the annual Hometown Holiday Assist shopping spree at Meijer in Madison Heights.
Once the boys and girls filled the carts for the hospital patients, Trevor Daley unveiled a surprise. The hockey players were getting a shopping spree of their own.
