Yzerman held a virtual press conference with reporters on Wednesday, one day after the NHL announced the regular season had ended, which means the Detroit Red Wings won't play any more games this year.
“I have no plans of making a coaching change at this time. I think Jeff has done a good job,” he said. “The Red Wings are in a rebuild.”
Yzerman said he also plans on naming a captain before next season starts.
