BLOOMFIELD TWP., Mich. — Jack Nicklaus visited Oakland Hills Country Club on Monday, the site of many golf memories for the legend.
"Every time I've played in Michigan, it's been supported very well," he said.
Nicklaus flew to town to serve as the keynote speaker at the Golf Association of Michigan's Centennial Celebration.
The 18-time major winner said he is happy to see the PGA TOUR return to Michigan with next week's Rocket Mortgage Classic. He also expects a major to follow soon at Oakland Hills.
