DETROIT (WXYZ) — It's been less than a month since tickets went on sale for the Rocket Mortgage Classic, the first PGA Tour event in the city of Detroit, but officials for the event say tickets are going quickly.

Tickets went on sale to the public on March 13, and according to officials, a number of different ticket options have already sold out.

“The initial response from golf fans in the city of Detroit and beyond has been nothing short of amazing,” said Jason Langwell, the Executive Director of the Rocket Mortgage Classic. “We are headed toward a completely sold out weekend. Anyone interested in attending should act now to reserve their spot to see history made when the PGA TOUR makes its first-ever trip to Detroit.”

The event says there are still daily grounds tickets, weekly grounds passes and a few group hospitality packages remain. Those range from $10-$55 per day for the daily tickets, $175 for the week and other hospitality packages. Those tickets can be purchased at rocketmortgageclassic.com.

Tickets good for any day of the tournament sold out quickly, and weekend passes to the Club 16 also sold out.

The event takes place from June 25-30 at Detroit Golf Club. The practice rounds will begin on Tuesday with the tournament running Thursday - Sunday.
