WXYZ — The Lions are still scattered across the country, trying to maintain their off-season workouts amid the COVID-19 pandemic that has prevented them from returning to Allen Park to participate in voluntary workouts.

Danny Amendola has been practicing plenty of yoga to stay fit, while linking up with NFL quarterbacks Colt McCoy and Baker Mayfield as a local field.

The Lions wide receiver says he's been in constant contact with the other receivers, and that he and Kenny Golladay are hoping for a big 2020 for Detroit.

"We want to win, we want to get to the playoffs, we want to have a home playoff game at Ford Field, I tell him as much as I can, there's nothing like that feeling of winning for your city," Amendola said.

Defensive end Trey Flowers told the media he is maintaining his workouts, as his gym in Alabama is open. However he understands that the team is missing out on key time together during the offseason, that they won't be able to get back.

"I want to be back in the building working with guys, grinding out with guys towards a common goal, but this gives me more time with my family, my kids so I'm enjoying it," Flowers said.
