(WXYZ) — Detroit Lions kicker Matt Prater set an NFL record on Sunday and also won Detroiters free beer.
Prater hit a 54-yard field goal in Sunday's game against Minnesota, which set the record for the most career 50-yard field goals.
Back in July, Bud Light had announced that everyone in Denver would get free beer if Broncos kicker Brand McManus broke the NFL record for longest field goal, 64 yards, currently held by Prater.
Prater then tweeted, asking what happens if he broke his own record.
When I break my own record, what are we doing for the city of Detroit? @budlight

After Sunday's game, Prater tweeted a picture with a Bud Light, and company responded.
Detroit I know we didn’t have the season we would like, however we did win you some bud lights. @budlight @PatMcAfeeShow pic.twitter.com/c7XHx7Yop3
