ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) -- Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford made it clear on Thursday that he intends to stay put.
"Don’t think about it too much," Stafford told reporters when asked about trade rumors and speculation. "Haven’t seen it, Don’t think about it. I’m preparing to play the Green Bay Packers, that’s about it.”
Stafford added that even though the decision is ultimately out of his hands, he'd love to finish his career in Detroit.
“I think there’s something special about a guy getting the chance to play his entire career in one place. Not many guys get to do that these days. I would love to be one of those guys.”
