Michigan's football team is cleared to return to workouts, one week after COVID-19 cases shut down in-person contact.
The Wolverines got medical clearance to begin limited workouts on Monday, a team spokesperson told WXYZ Detroit.
Michigan's game against Maryland was canceled last week. The AP reported there were more than a dozen COVID-19 cases among student athletes.
The Wolverines are scheduled to travel to Columbus this week to play Ohio State on Saturday. The program postponed on Sunday Jim Harbaugh's usual Monday media availability to "mid-week."
