OREGON (WXYZ) — A night after Creighton came back to beat the Wolverines in the top of the ninth, Michigan responded with a comeback win of their own to win the Corvallis regional, 17-6.
The Blue Jays jumped out to an early 4-1 lead, but a big bottom of the fourth inning gave Michigan the lead again, and they wouldn't collapse again.
The Wolverines now await their fate in the super regional round, as just 16 teams are left hoping to win the College World Series.
