According to USA Today's annual coaches salary survey, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh is the highest paid college football coach with a salary of just over $9 million a year.
Last year, Nick Saban was the highest paid coach in the game with a salary of $7 million.
This year Harbaugh it at the top, followed by Saban with $6.9 million. Rounding out the top five are Ohio State's Urban Meyer ($6 million), Oklahoma's Bob Stoops ($5.5 million) and Florida State's Jimbo Fisher ($5.25 million).
There are 36 FBS coaches earning at least $3 million a year.
