Michigan State senior running back LJ Scott had an injury plagued senior campaign, and was a candidate to red shirt under the new rules, as he did not play in five games for the Spartans this season.
However after talking it over with his family and the coaching staff, Scott has decided to leave MSU and enter the NFL draft.

Scott burst onto the scene as a freshman, scoring an iconic touchdown late against Iowa to claim a Big Ten championship and propel the Spartans to the college football playoff.
However injuries have stunted him from replicating that type of success.
