The Detroit Pistons have just one choice to make as they prepare for the 2017 NBA draft.
Whoever it may be, will be someone that fits the mold of what head coach Stan Van Gundy is building in Detroit.
"Talent and character, pretty simply. I'm not looking at those guys of fulfilling needs, maybe position down the road," Van Gundy stated.
Multiple trades for current players and picks are already flying around the NBA, and the Pistons say they haven't ruled out moving from the 12th spot, but the price has to be right.
"The closer you get to the draft, the more interest and discussion takes place, it's really a timing element," Pistons general manager Jeff Bower said.
The Pistons will be hosting a draft party at the Palace of Auburn Hills on Thursday.
