According to the tour, Frittelli tested positive before getting on the tour's charter flight. He is the fourth tour player to test positive for COVID-19.

"I am experiencing no issues and feel great physically and was surprised and disappointed to learn of the positive test today," Frittelli said in a statement.

He said his WHOOP strap notified him of an increase in his respiratory rate overnight.

Nick Watney was the first golfer to test positive ahead of the RBC Heritage two weeks ago, and Cameron Champ and Denny McCarthy also tested positive last week.
