(WXYZ) -- A funeral service and public memorial for Hockey Hall of Famer Red Kelly will be held Friday in Toronto.
Kelly died May 2 at the age of 91. His number 4 was retired by the Detroit Red Wings in February.
A private funeral service for Kelly's family and friends will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
A public memorial will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday at Maple Leaf Square outside Scotiabank Arena. A display will be set up next to Kelly's statue at the plaza featuring a guest book for fans to sign.
