(WXYZ) — The Detroit Red Wings have traded Andreas Athanasiou to the Edmonton Oilers, the team announced on Monday.
According to Detroit, they also traded Ryan Kuffner to the Oilers in exchange for Sam Gagner and a second-round pick in 2020 and 2021.
Andreas Athanasiou can consistently score 30-35 goals on a contender. He's ridiculously fast, and has the ability to be a dynamite finisher.
