ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) -- The Lions will sign Patriots defensive end Trey Flowers to a five-year deal, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Flowers, a two-time Super Bowl champion with New England, had 57 combined tackles and a career-high 7.5 sacks in 2018. Flowers did not play in the Patriots' loss to Detroit in Week 3 due to a concussion.

Flowers had three tackles in the Patriots' win over the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII.
