(WXYZ) — Friday night's game between the Colorado Rockies and Detroit Tigers was postponed due to rain. The teams will play a split doubleheader on Saturday.

Friday's game will be made up as the second game of the split doubleheader, with a 6:40 p.m. start time. The Tigers say tickets from Friday's game are valid for Saturday night's game or any other game during the 2022 season.

Tickets from the rainout are good for Game 2 with no exchange necessary. If fans want to exchange them for tickets to Game 1, or any other game this season, they can do so at the Comerica Park box office, which re-opens on Saturday at 9 a.m. The Tigers are also offering fans who bought tickets for the rained-out game a chance to buy tickets for Game 1 at half-price, allowing them to attend both games. Details are available in an email sent to ticket holders.

The first game of Saturday's split doubleheader will be the originally-scheduled 1:10 p.m. start.
