WXYZ — Of the 337 players that participated in the NFL combine, former Michigan quarterback Shea Patterson was the only player not signed by an NFL team, until Sunday.
Patterson was signed as a undrafted free agent by the reigning Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs.

Patterson threw for 5,661 yards and 45 touchdowns in his two season with the Wolverines.
He will have a chance to compete for the backup position behind Patrick Mahomes with another former Wolverine in Chad Henne, and his former Ole Miss teammate Jordan Ta'amu.
