On Monday morning, Orchard Lake Country Club had groups of golfers on every one of its holes. As soon as the course emptied, another group of golf carts paraded onto all 18 holes.

Sparky Anderson died in 2010, but his legacy continues to drive the CATCH Golf Classic. This year marked the 30th playing of the annual charity outing.

The event is a benefit for Children's Hospital and Henry Ford Hospital.

Oakland basketball head coach Greg Kampe won the award named after Anderson, for his efforts in the community.
