(WXYZ) -- The Detroit Tigers placed outfielder Nomar Mazara on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a left abdominal strain.
Mazara left Wednesday's 6-4 win in the fourth inning.
In a corresponding move, Detroit recalled RHP Joe Jiménez from its taxi squad.
