The Detroit Tigers have agreed to terms with righthanded pitcher Mike Fiers.
Fiers spent last season with the Houston Astros. The 32-year-old pitched in 29 games for them last season, finishing with an 8-10 record, a 5.22 ERA and 146 strikeouts.
Fiers was drafted back in 2009 by the Milwaukee Brewers.
The signing brings the Tigers' 40-man roster to 40.
