The 2018 Gold Medal-winning U.S. Women's National Hockey Team will face off against its rival, Team Canada, as part of Hockey Week Across America on Sunday, Feb. 17.

Faceoff is set for 12 p.m. and is part of a three-game series with the two teams across the country.

"It's great to bring the excitement of the U.S.-Canada rivalry to Detroit, a city with such a rich hockey
history," said Pat Kelleher, executive director of USA Hockey. "When our teams meet, the speed, the
skill and the passion on display are really unparalleled."

According to Kelleher, part of the plan is to make this game affordable for families. With that, tickets are expected to start at just $15 and go to $55, and will go on sale Monday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m.

You may remember the two teams met in the Gold Medal game at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics in February where Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson scored a goal in the sixth round of the shootout before Goaltender Maddie Rooney stopped the tying shot to win their first Gold Medal since 1998.
