GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Detroit Red Wings prospect Givani Smith was recently sent down from Detroit to Grand Rapids, but made a showing during a fight on Wednesday night.
In the second period of the Griffins' game against the Cleveland Monsters, Smith squared up with Doyle Somerby.
After grabbing on Somerby's jersey, Smith threw a right hand that stunned Somerby and allowed Smith to take him down. Fight over.
