WXYZ Senior Salutes: We are asking for your senior year sports stories for our Brad Galli and Justin Rose to highlight on TV.
Club volleyball has exploded in Michigan. The talent in our state has created a competitive playing field. For girls playing at the highest level and looking to get college scholarships, the club season is often more meaningful than high school seasons.
The spring season for seniors in high school, playing on 18s teams, was canceled. That means no trip to AAU or Junior Olympic national championships. We at WXYZ salute the club teams of senior students from Team Detroit, Legacy Volleyball, and Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy, among others.
