Metro Detroit Forecast: A milder Sunday

(WXYZ) — A relatively quiet night ahead despite having a storm system just to our south. This storm will be close enough to increase our clouds and provide a slight chance of rain & snow before it pulls away. Once the storm leaves the Midwest, we'll see clearing skies with temps returning to the upper 20s and low 30s tonight. Sunday and Monday look dry and mild but another strong storm will impact Metro Detroit Tuesday evening and Wednesday leading into Thanksgiving.

This will be just one of two systems to impact the holiday travel week. The second storm is worth watching as well, which arrives Friday night into Saturday. Everything from ice to plain old' rain is on the table at this time. We'll keep you updated right here as we get closer.

Tonight: A slight chance of rain, mixing with snow after 8pm, then gradually ending. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 30. Light and variable wind becoming west around 6 mph in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29.

Monday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 50. S

Tuesday: A chance of rain after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 48. Chance of precipitation is 50%
