The 7 First Alert weather team is tracking a winter storm, which could bring anything from heavy rain to snow & ice. The biggest concern across all of Metro Detroit will be flooding with a widespread 2"-3" of rainfall possible starting Friday and continuing through Saturday. As temps fall on Saturday, freezing rain/ice will be the next concern, especially around I-69. Best chance for accumulating snow of 3"-5" will be north of Detroit Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low of 18° then rising into the 20s by the morning drive.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a rain/snow mix possible late. High of 40°.
Friday: Rain, some heavy. Mild with highs near 50°.
Saturday: Rain, thunder possible. Temps falling with rain changing to and mixing with freezing rain then snow late, especially north of Detroit.
