Tonight: Clouds increase late with a low of 19 in Detroit, but closer to 10-12° north of M59. Wind: Variable 5 mph.
Thursday: Increasing clouds with a chance of snow or rain after 5pm in Detroit (earlier to the southwest). Rain is likely to mix in Thursday night as warmer air moves into southeast Michigan. Snow totals look like 1"-2" for the entire storm from late Thursday through early Friday. Not all of that sticks to the roads because of warmer temps.
Friday: Wet roads may freeze before sunrise as temperatures drop throughout the morning. Very windy with a few snow showers and temps in the 20s all day. Wind: SW 25-45 mph.
Wind chills could be a few degrees either side of zero.
