Metro Detroit Forecast: Colder to end the week and then snow to start the weekend!

Snow will start around midnight Friday night and the first batch will end late morning Saturday. Totals: 3"-6" south of I-94 and 5"-7" north of I-94. Snow will change to rain Saturday afternoon and then in the evening back to snow with another half inch to inch possible.

Tonight: Most snow done by 10 pm. A few snow showers could linger overnight in Macomb, Lapeer, St. Clair, and Sanilac counties. Lows: 28° in Detroit and 24-27 elsewhere. NW 10-20 mph winds.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy and much colder with temps near 31. 20% chance of hit or miss snow showers. Northwest wind 15 - 30 mph.

Friday: Partly sunny and chilly with a high around 30°.
