Metro Detroit Forecast: Rain and wind for Election Day

Clouds throughout the evening and the first raindrops could fall after 9pm. It will be much more widespread and heavier overnight into Tuesday.

TONIGHT: Rain likely and thunder is possible. Temps overnight may drop as low as the upper 40s early, but will rise back into teh low 50s by sunrise.

ELECTION DAY: Morning rain and then afternoon showers. Getting windy throughout the day with the strongest winds in the afternoon. Wind gusts could reach 35-40 mph.

WEDNESDAY: Partly to mostly sunny with steady winds up to 25 mph. Highs only in the upper 40s.
