Metro Detroit Forecast: FLOOD WATCH and severe threat overnight

A Flood Watch has been issued for Lapeer and Sanilac Counties until Wednesday afternoon.

TONIGHT: Storms are possible around M59 and north overnight and some may slide into the metro area late tonight. An isolated storm may be severe. More rain is expected north of Detroit and Ann Arbor than to the south. Temperatures could drop in the 50s across the Thumb, but stay near 70 south of Detroit.

WEDNESDAY: Showers and storms likely off and on throughout the day. High of 68°. Cooler to the north, and warmer to the south of Detroit,
