A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for the entire WXYZ-TV viewing area beginning late Tuesday night through late Wednesday night.
Tonight: Rain showers with a few snow showers as well on the northwest side of Metro Detroit. There could be a light snow coating on roads by morning in a few locations in Oakland, Livingston, and Washtenaw counties. Lows in the low 30s
Winds: NE 5-10 mph.
Tuesday: Chance of rain with some snow on the NW side of town. Snow starts to stick Tuesday late day/evening. Highs: upper 30s to around 40°. Winds: NE 10-20 mph.
Tuesday Night: Snow starts to stick with accumulation on the roads by the Wednesday morning commute. Lows in the around 30°. Winds: NE 10-20 mph.
Wednesday: Accumulating snow is expected all day withe the heaviest amounts around and north of M-59. Lightest amounts of 2"-4" will be in Monroe county with a wide area through metro Detroit and north end up in the 4"-8" range of new snow. Highs in the low to mid 30s. Winds: NE to NW 10-20 mph.
