WAYNE, LENAWEE AND MONROE COUNTIES are under the advisory until 12 AM Saturday.

Tonight: Clouds increase with lows in the upper teens to low 20s. Wind: E 5 mph.
New Year's Day: Winter Weather Advisory starting at noon for freezing rain, sleet, and snow. Temps will struggle to 35 in Detroit, but other areas north and west may not get that warm. Icy roads after the late morning hours could be a problem. A few power outages may happen too because of icing.
Saturday: A slight snow chance early then mostly cloudy and 39.
